Iansphotocanvas.co.uk was set up and is managed by Ian Pryce.

Ian started out in photography 45 years ago working for a small studio copying and restoring old photographs. Early in 1970 he started his own business as a general photographer and soon built up a large cliental for his restoration services. Back then image restorations were done by hand and airbrush.

Technology has moved on a great deal since those early days with image restoration and manipulation now possible through digital means. So now image restoration is quicker and therefore cheaper but with the same consistent high quality always guaranteed

Alongside restoration and image manipulation, Ian is also an expert printer. Iansphotocanvas.co.uk use an ultra modern Epson printer incorporating the new advanced Micro Piezo print head technology and 7-colour Ultra-Chrome ink system, which offer unparalleled quality with the highest resolution available at 2880 dpi, and prints which will remain light fast in excess of 75 years.
